    Brillant Networking is offering remote services and consultations, I mostly use Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Google Meet but will work with all platforms.
  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
    I offer the most affordable rates for executive C-Level and mid level resumes online. I am willing to negotiate an affordable rate to any customer regardless of their education or background.
  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
    I write stand-out resumes that get results in an in-depth interview process(50 minutes). I work one-on-one to learn the full scope of my customer's experiences, expertise, and skills and then transfer and present that information into what is most important and what will resonate with employers and recruiters. The entire process on average could be completed in a span of 1-5 days depending on the nature of the work
  • What types of customers have you worked with?
    I will work with anyone, and I have worked with everyone from "Yale to Jail". In respect to my customer's privacy, I can provide references, testimonials and writing examples upon request or please check out what my customers have said by visiting my "REVIEWS" section tab at the top of my Brillant Networking website.
  • What should customers think through before talking to resume writing professionals about their project?
    In today's job market, I recommend working with resume writing professionals that have most up-to-date information on Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), keyword scanners, and online application best-practices to ensure your employment documents will perform well when applying online. Customers should choose a professional that expresses their confidence that every resume they write will win in job interviews .....choose the expert who stands out from the sea of resume advice!
  • Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
    I have recently been working with many professionals in the healthcare employment sector. One customer had been out of the field for a number of years and needed a resume that accurately reflected her skills sets and experience but would also strengthen and build her confidence entering interviews. After the final revision she said she was amazed by all the work she had done in her past and how confident she felt to now apply for jobs she felt she did not have the courage to do before this new resume. Another customer was looking to move a great distance to an entirely new region of the country, and they did not have access to specific industry-related managers and recruiters in the area. They had spent over a year applying for out-of-state jobs and writing many letters directly to hiring managers with no luck. With my help, they secured 2 job interviews (both of which were offered) and they relocated within 2 months of outreach.
  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a professional resume writer?
    Be cautious of those writing services that tout a number of resume writing certifications but have not actually worked on BOTH the job seeker side AND the employer side. I have done both for over 15 years. I recommend that customers do their research online. Many of these certifications require only a paid participation to sit through a few hours of PowerPoint presentations and then just provide a number of templates. They are paying for the templates. You are not a template! A good resume writer is not someone who has the most certifications but someone who has worked with both job seekers and employers and someone who has the volume of completed resumes in their career.
  • How did you get started doing this type of work?
    My background has been working in the non-profit sector for over 20 years. I received the David D Gregory Community Inclusion Award from the Department of Health and Human Services. From there I began to sit on several boards of non-profit, membership associations, and committees in a leadership capacity including VP of Diversity for Human Resources Association of Southern Maine, Vice President of the Learning Disabilities Association of Maine, and Area Manager of the Cumberland County Special Olympics of Maine. I was also the VP of Diversity for the Southern Maine Chapter of Society of Human Resource Management for a short tenure. I became integrated with the workforce development community collaborating with healthcare systems, government, and vocational rehabilitation and community-based employment services. I began delivering presentations on such resources on diversity, local labor market data, career exploration, self-assessment, job retention, apprenticeship programs, ergonomic assessments, and customized employment. In addition to my experience and training in workforce development, vocational rehabilitation, and community-based employment services, I completed several employment related certificate programs related to human resources, talent acquisition and full-cycle recruitment in addition to further my skills sets as a executive level resume writer, interview coach, on the job trainer, and project coordinator.
  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
    Starting in 2006 I began taking certifications and training in Employment Services (CES) curriculum from the Association of Community Rehabilitation Educators (ACRE), Human Resource Management, Talent Acquisition Full Life-Cycle Recruitment Certification and Executive Level Resume Writing Certificate. As a private Limited Liability Company and Community Rehabilitation Employment Provider(CRP) I have a certification to work with the Department of Education and the Department of Labor's Division of Vocational Rehabilitation in the areas of job development, career exploration, job training and securing jobs with community employers.

    1) Package #1 Resume Writing Hourly Rate Service: Resume review or edit. Brillant Networking charges an hourly fee to review, edit or re-write customer resume using customer’s existing resume format and or existing template (must be MS Office compatible). Customer can cap the amount of hours to spend on resume project, setting a fixed rate. Customer will send(s) all materials including old or existing resumes in MS Office. Customer completes a template and resume development form and will send Brillant Networking links to Job Descriptions and Job Postings that customer has interested. Brillant Networking will send customer an invoice and once paid customer will then be emailed a PDF and MS Word Copy (1-2 days). The benefits: An expedited process for quick turnaround time (provided that all information given is accurate and complete), no meetings are required. If there are corrections needed to be made customer will be responsible for their own corrections and edits and be proficient with MS Office. 2) Package #2 Resume with Phone Consultation video conference interview/No Forms to Complete. * ¹ Depending on additional time spent, this would be $ for the resume, $ for the phone/ video conference interview/consultation ² and $hr. for the time to complete resume. The Benefits: Customer does not need to complete any paperwork or forms. There are no edits by resume writer, customer is responsible for their own edits. Invoice is sent and once paid resume is emailed in PDF and MS Word copies. *-rates will be higher for Senior/Executive Level Resume ¹ Brillant Networking Reserves to right to charge a small re-start fee, after 1 month of non-contact/no response from customer. 3) Star Package Top Resume Package; includes up to 3 edits, professional copy editing on all final documents, multiple phone, video conference interviews, & LinkedIn. ** ¹ Process: Client Interview (50 minutes over the phone, video conference or in person). ² Clients/Customers do not need to complete any templates or fill out any forms! Resume writer will thoroughly interview and gather all this information directly from clients/customers from an in person, phone, or video conference interview (50 minutes). Customers do not have to complete any paperwork. 1-5 days for turnaround for the first draft (Provided that client/customer has complied/submitted any additional information requested by the writer from the 50-minute interview). If day 5 falls on a Saturday or Sunday, the due date will be Monday. (Again, entry level and mid-level have shorter turnaround times) If resume writer requires longer time, client/customer will be notified with advanced notice for the extension. 30 minutes follow up meeting to review first draft (30 minutes scheduled over phone/ video conference or in person ²) Brillant Networking allows a First, Second and Final Draft as all included in the pricing. Brillant Networking allows 1-2 days between edits (after the 30 minutes follow up meeting). If additional drafts are needed client/customer can negotiate an additional cost or wave the fee entirely with approval. If follow up meetings are not needed, they can be waved and deadline for final revision can expedited. Client/Customer receives a MS Word, PDF, and ATS-OPTIMIZED FILE version of his or her resume. Brillant Networking invoices through FreshBooks with payment expected upon reception of the first draft. Payment methods accepted Apple Pay, Cash, Check, ATM/Credit Card, PayPal and Venmo. Brillant Networking would be happy to negotiate other payment options or payment plans.
